Data Protection/GDPR/Privacy

UK GDPR

11 pm (GMT) on 31 December 2020 saw the end of the Brexit transition/implementation period and  the UK’s withdrawal from the EU.    A new UK GDPR was born with the GDPR still being applicable in the EU as EU GDPR.  Of course, many businesses had already changed their policies and procedures pre-Brexit to meet GDPR historically but in light of Brexit those policies/notices, procedures and contract terms should be revisited and revised accordingly to ensure compliance.
