In UK law, a contract is an agreement between 2 or more parties.
There are 6 elements to consider in order to establish if there is a valid contract in place:-
- Offer
- Acceptance
- Consideration
- Capability
- Intention to create legal relations
- No vitiating factors.
In the video below The Law Guide UK takes a closer look at each element.
