Zenira joined Johnson May Solicitors as a Junior Paralegal in April 2026. She supports our solicitors across a range of dispute-related matters, including property disputes, debt recovery, boundary disputes and landlord and tenant matters.

As part of her developing paralegal role, Zenira assists with a variety of legal and administrative tasks, including preparing documents, undertaking legal research, reviewing information and supporting the team with the day-to-day progression of client matters. The varied nature of her work is helping her to develop her practical legal knowledge and gain experience across different areas of civil litigation and property-related disputes.

Zenira graduated from the University of Essex in July 2025 with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in Law with Politics, which included a year studying abroad in the United States. Her time abroad provided her with valuable experience of a different environment and helped broaden her communication and interpersonal skills.

Before joining Johnson May Solicitors, Zenira volunteered at a law clinic for four years. Through her pro bono work, she gained experience of working in a legal environment and engaging with individuals seeking legal assistance. This experience also developed her interest in access to justice and the role that legal professionals can play in supporting individuals and communities.

Since joining Johnson May Solicitors, Zenira has continued to build on this foundation and develop her practical legal skills. Working within a boutique firm gives her the opportunity to gain experience across a varied caseload, develop her drafting and communication skills and learn from the solicitors and colleagues around her.

Zenira is keen to continue developing her legal knowledge and practical experience as she progresses in her career. She particularly values the opportunity to work with clients and colleagues and to contribute to the support provided by the wider team.

Outside of work, Zenira enjoys the arts, food and travel and also values time for relaxation and reflection.
