Maxine is a SRA Regulated Solicitor and a BCS Data Protection Practitioner.

Maxine was admitted to the roll of solicitors of England and Wales in 2004.  She has worked at City Firms, a Regional Legal 500 firm, as in-house/chambers-rated firm and as in-house counsel at the Government Legal Department (previously known as the Treasury Solicitor) acting for the Prison Service, Home Office and Probation Services. Maxine has underwritten After the Event Insurance, analysing figures, risk and product availability for high profile and commercial litigation cases working effectively with leading Standard & Poors A+ rated insurance providers.

During her practice Maxine has advised clients in relation to many different areas of law to include (but no limited to) for example, contracts and contract disputes, negligence disputes, possession proceedings, general property & land disputes, debt recovery, employment cases, professional negligence cases, insolvency, consumer credit agreements, website legal documents, personal injury cases, data-protection/GDPR, insurance, business, banking, building & construction, equine law, insolvency, adverse possession, boundary disputes, TOLATA, trust disputes, company & partnership disputes and matrimonial/childcare law for both individuals and business clients.

Maxine’s current practice mainly focuses on landlord & tenant, general property, boundary, land and trust disputes, debt recovery and general dispute resolution.

Maxine has a special interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution “ADR” and has a good success rate. Her primary concern is always to try and achieve the best outcome for her clients in a practical, efficient and cost-effective manner through ADR, if possible, only seeking assistance from the Court when necessary.
