There is still a ban in place preventing bailiffs from attending and evicting tenants. This ban remains in place until 31 May 2021 in England and until 30 June 2021 in Wales but if the court is satisfied that such action is necessary because for example there are substantial rent arrears it will allow the eviction. So if you are a landlord and your tenant has accrued substantial rent arrears, although the situation is far from ideal, you can still serve your tenant with a relevant notice to quit and thereafter seek assistance from the court to get back your property and the arrears.
